Thank you for the opportunity to sponsor the last lunch!  I enjoyed meeting you all and hope that the information shared will help you in years to come in reducing your utility bills and saving money in the long term.   

As I mentioned, I attended a recent meeting with the NVEnergy SureBet team on their incentives for 2010.  I wanted to share this information with you all.  In order to benefit with this program, a pre-inspection must be completed before any upgrades are installed.  The application is completed then the project should be completed within 90 days.  Once a post-inspection is done your rebate check is issued within 7-10 days.  There are some changes to the incentive sheet that I passed out last week (2009 incentives for No NV) but most of those changes affect restaurant facilities.  The SureBet program only has 1.5 million in their budget for No. Nevada this year so the sooner you complete the application the more likely you are to receive the rebates. 

On another note, on the link below is another program offered through NVEnergy that involves a non-profit grant that will match your investment up to $10,000!  (If you utilize this program you cannot use the SureBet program).  Also, they mentioned an Express Loan Program through SBDC for amounts up to $50k for energy efficiency upgrades at a fairly low interest rate (I believe Adrien Burney can discuss this in more detail).
